We, the common people of the United States of America,

In order to preserve our sovereign nation,

Offer

To a noble man of

Deep integrity

The distinct and prestigious honor of our highest office.

Great sacrifice is required:

No days off. No privacy. On call 24 hours a day for 1,461 days.

Decent and honorable language (both public and private) through

harsh criticism and even through war.

A man who fears God, reads and respects His word

seeks His guidance and trusts Him.

A man who has a steady eye for our nations friends or

for our enemies.



A man who has ideals to pursue

Who realizes our nation is only as strong as its homes and

that continued destruction of the home means ultimately,

destruction of our country.

A man with a great heart

who strives to protect the sensitivity of his people;

who counts all life

precious and sacred.

A man not ashamed of tears.

This man will we honor and serve

Our children will rightly call him hero and seek to follow

his footsteps of integrity.

Our people will pray for him.

Our nation will persevere, for

It is righteousness that exalts a nation.

For such a man, we, the common people, will pray mountains

of blessings upon him, his land, our land.

We will stand arm in arm believing that God,

steadfast and true,

will be pleased with us all.
