When little hands fold in prayer,
There’s no sweeter sight any where.
And, God, Himself, does a ‘double-take’,
When He sees little hands fold in prayer.
It’s a sign of a saint in the making,
And God enjoys it so much,
To think that a little one chooses
To kneel down and voice his trust.
Sometimes, they do it with parents.
Sometimes they are all alone.
God loves to listen and answer,
Knowing this little one will not roam.
Such a blessing to know God in earnest,
Such a bonding ~ as strong as steel;
Comfort from God and trusting
To be answered by God, for real!
